Angela Kwan

Angela Kwan is a current Doctor of Medicine (MD) student and co-founder of CAAMSA. She completed her undergraduate (HBSc) in Chemistry & Biology for Health Sciences and Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemistry at the University of Toronto. She has a strong interest for research, specifically in the fields of neurology, family medicine, oncology, psychiatry, and public health. Her mission is to improve health equity within our healthcare system, and promote accessibility, justice, and advocacy. Through CAAMSA, Angela hopes to provide greater insights for medical students on the different specialties and help them develop their passion. She also hopes to implement projects within clinics to help address the social determinants of health and enhance the educational experiences of medical students.
